1) Compare and Contrast Cambodian etiquette with Korean etiquette.
2) How does African American etiquette differ from Cambodian etiquette?
3) What are some strategies each of the parties in this conflict could have taken to avoid the disastrous consequences of their actions?
4) Imagine that you are a member of the Kern County Human Relations Commission. What recommendations would you make in order to help bring an end to these sorts of disastrous intercultural conflicts in our community?

Safe Space Training (30 points)
The Bakersfield College Safe Space program was created by the SGA as a way for members of our College to create a supportive environment for the LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender or Questioning) community. "Safe Spaces" are places on our campuses where the college representatives have decided to publicly identify themselves as making an effort to understand and support the needs of the LGBTQ community.
If you attend a training then write about the experience as it relates to what we've learned in class you will receive 30 points. In order to get the points you will need to bring to my office hours the materials you received at the workshop as well as your 1-2 page write-up of the experience. We'll talk a few minutes and then you'll get the points!
